As reported on TV, Taliban have surrounded a Police Station in Hangu and 57 security personnel are stuck inside Police Station. They have also kidnapped Incharge of the Police Station.
Do such incidents happen in other countries of the world in this age.

I don’t know where my good friends from University Patrick Mcneil and Raymond Entwistle are. I have been searching on internet , and sending emails to wrong persons, but could not find them. I wish we had emails and internet then and we would have stayed in touch. And living addresses we kept changing till we were lost in the world.
For Prophets, Buddhas, Jesus, and all those starters of religions this would have probably been the best time to appear to prove their case as now we have internet, satellite televisions, and all tools of communication and information technology. Why they appeared in ancient times and left us in future generations in doubts.
