Yesterday Taliban made announcements in our home town Jamrud, Khyber that beards are no more to be shaved. Seems like I won’t be able to visit my home town anymore.
Obama has publically stated to strike taliban and Al-Qaeda inside Pakistan. I think before starting anything which would neither end nor succeed, it would be better that Obama ask Pakistan guarantees and timeframe for elimination of taliban and Al-Qaeda presence in Pakistan, and actually this country cant do that anyway, as now pakistan security forces are engaged all over this province and tribal areas with the taliban.
I am back to blogging after some months. I have time too because I am on 4 months vacations; just fed up from routine job. Alot has changed since my last blog. Taliban have finally come to our village and are looting trucks to Afghanistan every 2nd day. They go round the town in powerful vehicles carrying AK47s and Bazooka rocket launchers. They certainly are not locals. They have long hair and beards and wear jackets.
